Print one test page on plain paper, hold it over a label sheet, and adjust if the barcodes sit off-centre. "Skip used labels" starts printing after labels already peeled off a partly used sheet.

How to print on a thermal label printer

    1. Paste your codes and choose the roll size that matches your labels. Each page of the PDF is exactly one label.
    2. Download the PDF and open the print dialog. Choose your label printer, set the paper size to the same label size, and print at 100% / Actual size.
    3. If the barcode sits off-centre, use Printer alignment to shift it.

Labels a different size, such as 57×32 mm or 3×2 inch? Choose Custom and enter the size printed on the roll.

Why thermal labels work well for barcodes

Direct thermal printers need no ink, print crisp black bars and handle hundreds of labels in one go, which makes them a good fit for SKU labels, bin locations and inventory tags. For 4×6 inch shipping-size labels, pick the 4×6 preset and the barcode is scaled to fill the label.

Which thermal printers does this work with?

Any printer that prints a PDF, including Zebra, Rollo, Munbyn, DYMO LabelWriter, Brother QL and others.

Why is my barcode printed small or cut off?

The printer's paper size does not match the label size. Set the paper size in the printer settings to the label size and print at 100%.

Can I print several barcodes per thermal label?

Each thermal preset puts one barcode on each label. For several codes per label, choose Custom and set the rows and columns.
