Print one test page on plain paper, hold it over a label sheet, and adjust if the barcodes sit off-centre. "Skip used labels" starts printing after labels already peeled off a partly used sheet.

    Barcode your inventory in minutes

    1. Export your products from Shopify, WooCommerce, Etsy or your spreadsheet, or paste the SKU and name columns straight in.
    2. Keep Code 128: it handles letters, numbers and dashes, the usual ingredients of a SKU.
    3. Print on sticker sheets for shelves and bins, or on a thermal roll for products and bags.
    4. Scan with any USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner. It types the SKU as if it were a keyboard.

Tips for SKUs that scan well

    • Keep SKUs short. 8–15 characters gives wide bars on small labels.
    • Avoid look-alike characters such as O and 0, or I and 1, if people will type SKUs by hand.
    • Need retail barcodes for selling through shops or Amazon? Use EAN-13 or UPC-A numbers from GS1.

What barcode type should I use for SKUs?

Code 128. It supports letters and numbers and every common scanner reads it.

Can I scan these SKU barcodes into Shopify?

Yes. Shopify POS and inventory apps accept scanned Code 128 values. Put the same SKU into the product's barcode field.

Can I add the product name under the barcode?

Yes. Put the name after a Tab or comma on each line, or choose a name column when uploading a spreadsheet.
