Terms of Service
These terms apply to your use of bulkbarcodemaker.com and the Bulk Barcode Maker software (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Bulk Barcode Maker is a web-based tool that generates barcodes, QR codes and printable label sheets in your browser. A free version is available without an account. Some features or higher limits may require a paid licence (“Pro”).
2. Free use
You may use the free version for personal and commercial purposes, within the limits shown on the site. We may change free features or limits at any time.
3. Paid licences
- Purchase. Pro licences are sold through our payment provider, which acts as the merchant of record and handles payment, invoicing and sales tax or VAT. Its terms of sale also apply to your purchase.
- Licence. When you buy Pro, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Pro features for the term you purchased (a subscription period, or lifetime for one-time purchases), subject to these terms.
- Licence keys. Keep your licence key private. Each key may be activated on a limited number of browsers or devices, as stated at purchase. Sharing or reselling keys is not allowed, and we may deactivate keys that are abused.
- Subscriptions. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through the link in your receipt email or the customer portal. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
- “Lifetime” licences. These cover the Service for as long as we operate it. They do not include custom work or a guarantee that the Service will run forever.
- Refunds. See our Refund Policy.
4. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the data you encode and for having the right to use it. Retail barcodes (EAN, UPC, GTIN) normally require numbers licensed from GS1. The Service draws barcodes for the numbers you supply but does not issue or register numbers.
- Test before you print in bulk. Scan a sample with your own scanner and check the size and placement on your labels and printer before printing large runs.
- Do not use the Service for anything unlawful, to infringe others’ rights, or to disrupt or overload the site, and do not try to get around licence checks.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, its design and code (other than the open-source libraries it uses, which are covered by their own licences) belong to us. The barcodes and files you create are yours. Product and brand names such as Avery, Zebra, DYMO, GS1, Shopify and Amazon belong to their owners. Their mention does not imply endorsement.
6. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. These include warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every barcode will scan on every device or printer.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or stock, or misprinted labels, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 if you have not paid anything. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaches these terms. If we discontinue the Service, holders of active subscriptions will receive a pro-rata refund for the unused period.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the new terms.
