Generate barcodes from a spreadsheet
- Click or drag your .xlsx, .xls or .csv file into the upload box. The first sheet is read and header rows are detected automatically.
- Choose the barcode column (SKU, EAN, asset number…) and, optionally, the text column to print under each barcode.
- Choose the barcode type and label sheet, check the preview and download the PDF.
Empty rows are skipped, and rows that cannot be encoded, such as letters in an EAN, are listed so you can fix them in the spreadsheet.
Why not do it in Excel itself?
Excel can show barcodes with a barcode font, but fonts do not calculate check digits, Code 128 needs a special formula, and lining text up with label sheets in Word mail merge is fiddly. Here the barcodes are generated properly and placed on the sheet for you, from up to 5,000 rows at a time.
Copying cells also works: select two columns in Excel or Google Sheets, copy, and paste them into the Paste tab.
